I came here tonight to pose a question to you. What does art mean to you? Do you think it makes a difference in the world? Why or why not?
Black and white is the new color...
Check it, made my own spiffy css journal. Luckily for me I already knew css so it wasn't too much of a pain. Anyway, I hope you all like it. Feel free to leave comments (positive or negative) about the design. I'm not exactly an expert at typography.
I'm going to be taking a vacation from my freelancing, so I will hopefully be able to update more regularly. I thank each and every one of you for your comments and apologize profusely for not getting back to you all sooner. I do read every comment and try to respond when appropriate and within a reasonable amount of time.
What people forget is a journey to nowhere starts with a single st
More delays
Circumstances are such that I will most likely not be able to update for a few weeks, problems with the people I'm living with, new job in addition to the one I already have, moving all my stuff into my new place, and other commitments all need to be dealt with before I can get back to doing what I love. I will be watching if and when I can, and I read any and all comments left. It may be a while before I respond, but I try to respond to every comment anyone leaves me. This is not goodbye, believe me. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.

Journal CSS by Me via several tutorials. :)
I've been exposed.
That's right ladies and gents, a few days ago I became a member of the Ex-po-zure club. Not only that but my deviation "Here There Be Monsters" is now part of their "Best of December" gallery! Many thanks to Ex-po-zure for all the... well, the exposure. :D To my new watchers, I'd like to say welcome, and I hope to keep you all entertained. To my regular watchers, thank you for sticking with me through all my various phases.

One think I love about art is no matter who you are, from what culture, what country, what age, what religion etc. you can all stand in front of an artwork and love it. A Chinese guy could love the same piece an american teenage girl does. It sorta brings us all closer together. It closes the gap that the ocean and languages form between different culture's.
Another thing is it is all about expressing ourselves, and because everyone can express themselves differently, there's no rules. Of course, some things are excepted and are generally kept the same without question, but it doesn't HAVE to. Certainly, some things can look bad, and some things can look better, but there's no 'right' way of doing it or 'wrong' way of doing it.
Another thing is that you can practice and hone your skills. No matter what, you could better. Even if your great at, say, photorealism, you could, for example, try to get better at cartoon jazz. Because there's always new style's or new mediums being invented, you could get better at different ones. You've always got somewhere to aim for, and you'll never be perfect. You can sit back and practice and get better and be proud of yourself.
