Wow, can I just say I really like how this turned out. This is a recolor, manip, and composite of three stock images. I hope you enjoy it!
The compass rose is from "Find Your Way" by kalilo of sxc.hu. The main image is from eye stock 3 by ~bobbistock. The map is from "Europe Map" by spekulator, also of sxc.hu. Huge amounts of thanks to each stock providers for their contributions! |

On a side note, have you seen the map of the internet? The BG in this pic just reminded me.
the alst i was blown away by but hadn't had the time to comment on when i was viewing; but i'm almost glad i hadn't because i don't believe i wouldn't have had ANY words in response to this one.
i still don't have words for this one.
like you'd mentioned on the last something to the effect of "another eye picture on dA" -- well this puts them all to shame and ranks up at the highest. it speaks on so many levels of concept and yeat the shades and tones evoke such an emotion that's undeniable. the light areas, such a strong beauty. mechanically, your blending is so smooth and visually pleasing in the flow. i'm so in awe. instant instant INSTANT fave.

I've never seen the map of the internet, but I just googled it. It's cool, kinda looks like a picture from the hubble (the version I saw anyway).
and, don't sell yourself short on being ranked among the top eye shots on dA. honestly it's definitely so so high up there, i'm still blown away. and i couldn't agree more that it's without a doubt one of YOUR strongest images no less. many praises
